About Nancy Lee Cochran
Nancy Lee Cochran began her career in 1969 as the Deputy Director of a community-based, anti-poverty program in Steubenville, Ohio.
She founded Cochran and Associates in 1983.
Before then, she served as:
Director of Development for the PITTSBURGH OPERA with responsibility for cultivating support from individuals, corporations, philanthropic foundations and community groups.
Director of Development for THE SALVATION ARMY (Southwest Ohio and Northeast Kentucky Division and the Western Pennsylvania Division) with responsibility for $50 million in annual budgets plus capital and endowment campaigns.
Development Officer for BETHANY COLLEGE in Bethany, WV, with primary responsibility for an $11.5 million capital campaign.
Field Staff for KETCHUM, INC. with service in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Nancy’s community activities include:
Serving on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2006-2015.
Serving as Senior Vice Moderator and Moderator of the Pittsburgh Presbytery in 2004.
Serving on the Board of Elders andthe Council of Elders of Memorial Park Presbyterian Church from 2004 to present.
Nancy is the mother of two daughters, Marlaena and Melissa, and the grandmother of four: Abigail, Nathaniel, Rachel and Eli.
